On March 16, 2022 The Tampa Bay Times did a follow up article on the Bat House at Julian B. Lane Park. The article is titled “Tampa may be on the move, but the bats under a busy Riverwalk bridge are not” by Sue Carlton, Urban Affairs Reporter. Apparently the bats prefer the the Fortune Taylor Bridge to our contemporary bat house.
